I use one and it works well.

+1 on the Stewmac. Excellent tool. Finish the job with some very fine polishing paper like these: Micro-Mesh Soft Touch Pads | stewmac.com
I can make my fret ends smooth as butter with these tools. Takes a little time, but the guitar plays much better after.

I just did mine on a Tele that had sprouted quite a bit ( no longer a fret dressing virgin) using the stew mac kit. Worked out well and was simple enough following the vid they have.

+1 on the fret end dressing file (and a good magnifier). I also wrap some 320 grit around a finger and swipe up and down the edge of the fingerboard tilted, at about a 45º angle (this is after a refret or a fret level and recrown). Then I proceed to sanding the whole fret with 600 and 1200 grit before polishing. Sorry the picture is blown up so big, I haven't figure out how to control this.

thanks all
I was expecting a concave file
wouldnt that be easier to use ?
