Anyone here hear the new Lincoln commercial featuring " A Most unusual Day" by Beverly Kenney recorded in 1957. Another real talent lost in the shuffle of life.

Thanks for posting this. I heard the song and it reminded me of how such standards were sung, back-in-the-day, but I didn't know who it was, and thus didn't know if it was a new recording or not.

Never heard of her but looked her up almost as soon as I heard that commercial.
I thought it was Cyrille Aimee. Influence?

I think Johnny Smith did a recording with her.
(Edit) That sure sounds like Johnny on "Another Ewe".

one of my all time favorite singers, I knew it was her when I heard the commercial even though a friend told me it was June Christy, another favorite of mine, but they don't sound at all alike to me.
I have all of her recordings, the original pressings bring big $$$
she only made 1 lp w/Johnny Smith
very sad story though....
