Joe Pass (G minor)

This is a beautiful Joe Pass solo from the recording Live in the Netherlands with Toots Thielemans, played here in G minor (solo starts at 3:09 in the video).

The solo is built from short, clear motifs and features frequent use of augmented arpeggios and lines from the melodic minor scale, two devices Joe Pass often used to add tension and color to his improvisations.
