Intermediate player with a blues rock background not a lot of theory looking to start learning jazz guitar. Would prefer to focus on mechanics, jazz chords, scales, soloing and work through songs rather than focusing entirely on music theory.

Would be available weeknight evenings Eastern time.

Why Facetime it's not two way like Skype. You might want to check out TrueFire Sherpa program or they are starting a private lesson program. With TrueFire you email and send videos back and forth it you don't want the direct two way interaction.
No, I'm not going to give you the answer to your question. I don't want to deny you the pleasure you'll receive when you figure it out yourself. -- Bill Evans talking to his brother.

What do you mean Facetime is not two way, of course it is. I'm in Canada and need to pay in Canadian $$. Thanks.

No worries. By the way, I've purchased many video lessons from TrueFire. They have some amazing content. Thanks for the suggestions. Cheers!

You might give Marc-Andre Seguin from Montreal a try. I like him and have signed on.

I don't know about Facetime, but Joey Goldstein is really good. He's in the Toronto area. You might want to check with him.

Marc has got a good thing going. Always smiling while teaching. Enrolled in on of his courses now and he and his crew are very helpful.

He's from Gatineau. His rates are 3x higher than other instructors in my area so I passed.

I thought you were looking for facetime/skype? Does it matter where? Confused.

It's the exchange rate...Canadian teacher will most likely charge in CAD $$. Got it?

I teach Skype lessons off and on.

People tend to take lessons in spurts
