Nice playing.
I would think more about building a solo over a few choruses.
Something like building tension - then playing will be more interesting in terms of expression.
I do that at concerts, but that's a different situation.

Point taken. I was trying to work out some ideas rather than play a longer solo. I’ve been kind of systematically working through a few tunes I have that have always been a bit weak for me. Maybe I should put all these on the same thread or something.
