    Yes, I was going to mention that ATTYA works well in 3, but that's because I have the Hall/Metheny CD they do this on!

    This tune, "Sometime Ago" played by Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66, caught my ear when I was a kid. I hadn't heard it in years and years, and thought of it when coming across this thread. I tried to find the tune on YouTube and couldn't, but I did find this wonderful version by Bill Evans. Wow! Check it out …

    Nice find, Pat! Love this tune and Evans plays so laid back and cool. Nice bass solo, too. Don't know if Sergio Mendes wrote this, but I really like many of his tunes. Another of my favorites is So Many Stars.
