Well, it's that time of the year. Christmas Jazz.
Wondering if anyone can recommend some tunes that my Trio can play. Guitar, Upright and Trumpet. I just want to add 6 or 7 easy/simple holiday songs to our rep. Looking for doable and passable effort here. Christmas music is not a passion of mine.

One of the venues I play at regularly for jam sessions is having a Christmas party mid December, so I’m boning up on Christmas tunes, too.
Winter Wonderland is one of my favorites. Nice melody and fun changes for ad-lib.
White Christmas is fun done as a medium swing.
The Christmas Song as a ballad but with a double time for ad-lib. It also works nicely as a solo chord melody.
Last year, the host called Silent Night as a funky groove in 4 beats that worked well as a sing along.

Have you heard this?

You Yanks are quite late with your X-mas preparations. In Bavaria the first gingerbread is sold during the Oktoberfest.

Apologies beforehand...

Just transcribed from memory the "Chestnuts Roasting" tune.
It's in G so non-singer singers may sing along. The toughest
part was the four chords of "reindeer really know how to fly".
Came up with these... my chord naming is pretty horrible, no?

x 6 5 6 6 5 Eb(7#11#9)

I'm pretty sure I posted this last year or the year before, but I dig Kevin Eubanks' version of "Silver Bells"
