That's a fine relaxed version, John - Thanks for your contribution! Funnily that's one that I have been dusting off the last couple of days myself trying to get it right....

I've noodled around with it for ages, but was inspired to actually do a quickie recording (alas, with terrible guitar sound) by a singer/songwriter friend who has been posting a series of country videos on Facebook. He did another Doc Watson song (The Cuckoo), and I sort of answered him with this. I've got a few ideas for some more acoustic music (and am also working on some electric blues). Trying to keep myself away from the fridge in these trying times ...

After a long hiatus, here's No.13. Worked on this for the Study Group on Garrison Fewell's book and thought I might as well record a complete version including head and outro and include it in my series.

Without further ado here's clip #14 - I know it#s not jazz but I hope some of you may enjoy it nonetheless - just a little jam:

A lovely bittersweet Otis Rush/Billy G. vibe. Thanks, Tommo!
