This is my take on one chorus of "teach me tonight" .

Dayum, nice rhythm chops and tone. Is this a model that’s going to come out soon? Or a path not taken?

Thanks for the nice words, especially coming from such a masterful player!

It never went into production, sadly because it certainly is my dream guitar! I tried to find out the backstory to this guitar, it probably was made somewhere in asia, for the BR label. Probably either by eastman or yunzhi.
But to be true, i couldn't care less. It sounds and plays fabulous, and I only paid about 700€ for it!

OK earholing a couple of tunes I didn't know

Good practice. Don't 100% nail it, but do this a bit more and I think I'd get better.

Nah I use that as a viewfinder and start for the video recording. It’s not the same tune.... it might sound like it haha

Over Hep's driving rhythm track. This is what would happen sitting around downing a few beers in a club...unrehearsed and 100% fresh. Diggit.

Edit: may redo this - sounds too plinky ..... and unrehearsed

And now for something completely different: an endless boogie (that goes on for about a minute, never going to the IV or V, never turning around, just---like history--the same damn thing over and over and over.)

There's a false start which I started to edit out but chose not to because it indicates the tempo and feel and allows you start right in wailing. ;o)

A chorus in F---basically rhythm changes---with a non-standard bridge. A vamp / novelty tune romp taken a bit a modest tempo with a stop on the V chord. (In the song, that provides space for a catchy vocal phrase, which you don't get here, so I emulate the rhythm of it with a simple triad.)

O, I put on a strap today for the first time since getting this Tele. It's been a bit low for me---creating issues with my left thumb---so I thought a strap might help. Seems to. Problem: Didn't change the camera angle, so my left is is not much seen. Sorry about that.

    Hi, thanl you! Cool!

By the a is this a Fender? or a G&L? Looks a bit like G&L... do not know why really - just got that feeling...

I think G&L classic tele is going to be my next guitar after I pay out Martin I recently bought

A West Side Chicago-style blues I wrote. (A poor thing but mine own.)
Doesn't go to the IV chord until the turnaround, after the V.
My singing is morning-coffee awful but it helps you know where you are in the song.
Only do two choruses, there is a third following the solo break(s).

    It's fun to play.

A 12-bar blues riff I was messing around with this morning. Because it's only 12 bars long, I played it twice.
Not sure if it should be faster or slower....

    Simple 12-bar vamp.
Started a thread yesterday about iPhone recording and YouTube volume.
This morning I recorded this with my Focusrite iTrack pocket. Cost me $20 a couple years ago.
This is certainly louder than my other recordings here (-which were done with my iPhone and a Fender Mustang amp). Here, there is no amp at all. (Though some amp simulation sounds are available in the unit. This is the "Clean" setting.)

Swing tune with a two feel. Used Focusrite iTrack Pocket, so there's no amp sound but plenty of volume. Want to go back to amp and iPhone sound but I'll need an external mic first.
