Video I fall in love too easily - solo guitar

    Hi Jazz people!

This is a video I made a few months ago when I was bored at the music school where I teach and messing around with my phone.

I also used as a demonstration in this blog on my website: http://jenslarsen.nl/using-chords-solos/

    Hope you like it!

Nice. I like the way you keep the top voice separate and still keep the chords chugging.

Thanks dmorash! That was sort of what I was practicing, besides the fact that it is a beautiful tune

Great! If it were only audio I'd say there are two guitars!
    Same lick, different day

Most important things out of the way first: cool strat and great beard.

That being said, very cool arrangement! Definitely not an easy thing to play...that approach surely serves someone well in a trio context.

Thanks Jake! Beard is mine, strat is from the school where I work (the video is a result of a new phone and being bored because somebody did not show up for there lesson ). I do however have a strat that looks a lot like it.

Thanks I don't really use it for anything except solo stuff, in a trio it get's too much in the way of the bass player I think, but that is indeed something to work out. As an exercise it helps a lot in being able to play chords in the middle of lines, which I am sure serves a purpose or is at the very least a bit flashy....
