Our friend citizenk74 died on October 20th, 2022. I'm helping his widow with the disposition of the guitars and amps from his collection. He had practical and eclectic tastes, and considered his instruments as tools, so there's a wide range of guitars and amps. And a few pedals as well. Some of the stuff is well-used, some is hardly used, but he played these guitars, and he wanted them to be played after he was gone.

I think several of these instruments might be of interest to the folks here on JGF. So, here's an opportunity to get a piece of citizenk74 history, fondly remember the man every time you play one of his guitars, and get a really nice guitar while you are at it.

To date, one of our esteemed members has received K's ES-175, and a few other things have been sold. @15 guitars and @10 amps to go.
I'll put a few items together in one or two ads for guitars, one ad for amps - easier to see what is available. The collection was broad and varied - working gear, along with a few fun little amps that should be easy to ship. I'm pricing them based on some average numbers that I could find from various sold listings, and welcome any pricing feedback if I'm off on any of the pricing. Onward!

Here's his 2004 Gibson ES-137 Classic with lovely figured wood and a Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish, with its original case, all in great condition. I'll do a detailed review with pix for the buyer, when I have the guitar in hand. $1,865 (pending sale...) plus shipping to anywhere. I can ship it to a US address from Erie PA, to Canada from Toronto, and to anywhere in the world as well. Payment via Paypal Friends & Family. If you are interested, just send me a PM and we can sort it out from there.

I'd like to, but a stop tailpiece and a metal bridge will always stop me on a jazz guitar.
The guy was a freakin' Saint.
Hammertone is doing a great service for the family...

I purchased the Citizenk74 ES 175 via Hammertone. He did an outstanding job of sending pictures, getting dimensions, detailing every bump, and answering questions. Then the guitar was packed tight and snug in a proper guitar shipping box. Guy knows what he's doing..

I will be in the same room with this guitar and many packing boxes for the next couple of days - someone take advantage of this temporary proximity, make me an offer, and buy it!
