For specs, here's the mfg page: AR880CE - Eastman Guitars
Asking: $2400 shipped or pickup if local to northern Ohio.
Up for your consideration is a very nice Eastman AR880CE John Pisano signature model. I bought this about a year ago. I'm sad to see it go but it's a bit more guitar than I need at the moment. I've had this posted for about 2 weeks locally but I figured I'd post it here.
This guitar features a solid spruce top and solid flamed maple back and sides. It is very comfortable to play with its 16" body and relatively thin 2 3/4" width. It's very resonant with a sweet acoustic tone. The neck is maple with an ebony fingerboard and German-made Schaller tuning machines. It comes with a hard-case and certificate of authenticity. This has been setup by a luthier so the bridge and nut are properly setup for relatively low action.
There are a couple dings from playing which I have shown, however, overall the guitar has been kept in very good condition. If you want more detailed pictures please just reach out to me and I can provide them. Currently strung up with Thomastik 13 gauge flat wounds but let me know whatever strings you want and I can provide them.
Below are pics - if you need more just let me know.

Don't know why the pics came out sideways - sorry about that!

I love my 2007. Good luck with the sale!

Beautiful instrument as I have come to expect from Eastman. Good luck with the sale.
I do have a general question since the pics clearly show this...
Why do some guitars come with a Certificate of Authenticity?
My Eastman Frank Vignola FV-880CE-SB has one just like the one in the OP's pictures, as does my Gibson Citation. I have a variety of other guitars such as Taylor and McPherson and Emerald, but none of those have that certificate.
Is there a real, practical reason for these certificates?
Thanks,
Tony

I'm not really sure specifically when manufacturers choose to include certificates of authenticity. It seems that typically these come with higher end guitars where 'pedigree' is something to consider when purchasing.

For now, COAs are kinda superfluous for guitars - but I bet that doesn’t last much longer. And FWIW, I think Eastman dealers have blanks and can make replacement COAs as needed. If that’s true it’s yet another an opportunity for thieves, especially as carved archtop prices seem to be rising again.

Very interested in this guitar if still available. I sent you a PM, not sure if you received it. New to this forum but I go by “Rob W” on AGF and “Robert’s Acoustics” on Reverb. Kind regards, Rob

That's what came with my instrument from the store I bought it. I was kind of expecting the cello style case Eastman usually used to provide but this is what they gave me. Not sure if it's OEM but I'm assuming it is as the instruments fits very well. I even asked at the store if it was the original case since there was a Taylor cleaning cloth inside and I was expecting the cello case but they assured me it was the original, go figure.

Very attractive instrument.

And I love the neck and sound of mine. Mines a bit banged up, so I'd never get for it what it's worth to me. I think it's with me for the duration.

Great deal on a Flagship model! These are special.
-
Does it have the sliding headstock cover that comes on the later models?
-
Yes it does, the truss rod cover is magnetized. Mine actually has an extra one as well that is a bit shorter.
