Located at Carter Vintage Guitars: Gibson L-7 2005, Sunburst | Carter Vintage Guitars. No association with the guitar but thought I would post it after all the discussion of the Montana factory 2006 Gibson L-7CN that was listed at Gryphon Strings which apparently sold. The listing of this guitar says it's a Custom Shop, so made in Nashville?

It’s a Bozeman L-7C. Most of them look like this. They have Custom Shop stickers because they were built in the Bozeman Custom Shop.

Oh well! At least it’s $1000 less than the one at Gryphon Strings.

It's one of several hundred built between 2004 and 2012 withe these features, in this finish. The one at Gryphon, now sold, is one of ONE built with these features with a natural finish.

That makes sense then, Hammertone! Wondering how these one-off guitars come into being. Special order by a dealer or customer?

The one-off blonde one sold by Gryphon and a one-off cherry trans-red one were originally custom-ordered by the Music Zoo. My guess is that most other one-offs were requested by dealers. I know of a few that were custom-ordered for end-users.
