Definitely a gorgeous guitar. I'm not knowledgable enough about Trenier guitars to have any input on sound, playability, price, etc. If I was interested though I would contact the store directly to try and get a better price.

Check out Pasquale Grasso…..he plays solo and Trenier. Awesome player bringing solo guitar to a new level but the Trenier sounds mediocre at best to my ears. I think I just hate the sound of newer customs where the builder is trying to make the guitar as sensitive as possible. Sounds like crap (with a pick especially )!

I just love the look of a plain ebony board along with ebony appointments.

Check out the Freddie Bryant “Live at Mezzrow” YouTube video. He’s playing a Trenier. I own two - a 17” carved spruce top; and a 16” laminate. In my opinion, Trenier, along with Mirabella, Koentopp, Wilkie, Maegan Wells and a few others are the new vanguard of modern archtop builders. Their respect for the prior master luthiers is evident in their work, but they are definitely forging ahead. Unfortunately, given they are one-person shops, their instruments are both rare and pricey, making them generally unavailable to most players.

With SN#1029, This is maybe the oldest Trenier I have seen listed anywhere. My Model E is #1058, and Bryant did not list a build date inside. I was told mine is a 2011, but I wonder if it’s a little older than that.

I can attest to the quality of these early Trenier models. Mine is perhaps the best guitar I have ever played. The fit and finish, playability, resonance, and tone both plugged in and unplugged are all exceptional. This one seems maybe a little overpriced, however.

What in the world is that sticker doing on the inside??? Does any other dealer do that these days?
Man, that dude doesn't miss a trick, that would annoy the hell out of me. But he/they already did that awhile ago.

Bryant signed mine but didn’t date it. I’m wondering if it actually took until 2011 for him to build 29 more guitars to reach SN#1058, or if my guitar is older than I thought. It’s a minor point.

Was thinking about that last night, 5 years for 29 guitars that's roughly 6 a year , humm can't make much money on that after all expenses ..You might be right.....
