Up for sale is one of the better known and high quality L-5 type/style guitars. Many or most of you are familiar with these and their reputation. This one is all original with the possible exception of the pickguard. I have seen these with all-black pickguards such as this, but have seen more with tortoise type with the Epiphone "e" on it. The tone controls don't have "Volume " and "Tone" on top as most do, but are of same style and I can feel what seems like glue remnants where the stickers should be on a couple of them.
The only modification I've made is the replacement of the Tune-o-matic with a Rosewood bridge made just for this guitar by Steve Holst. I will include original bridge (see pic).
I've had another one of these and this one is the same in all other features, feel and sound. This one is in excellent condition with the exception of the blemish on the back binding near rear strap pin (see pic).
*Comes with hardshell TKL case.
* new TI Swings .13
* original warranty card.
Happy to provide more details and pics.
Asking price is $1,900 now DROPPED TO $1,700 (after any payment fees) & will split cost of actual shipping g cost.

Tough crowd!

You've only had it posted for about 48 hours. There are guitars that are advertised here for weeks or months before the right person sees them and buys it. Have faith!

Two or three weeks ago I was looking at this exact model Epiphone on reverb except the only one available was overseas and almost $2300. I refuse to buy from overseas, ever again. All of the Epiphone Matsumoku's are pretty slim pickings. The thinline model is also a nice guitar, as is the J model.
I would've been all over this but I wound up with a Guild instead that I received last week. I consider the F model you have here to be superior to the more common J model as it has the multi piece neck and the J doesn't. Beautiful guitar and best of fortunes with your sale, someone will get a nice instrument.
And BTW nice Gibson amp. I have a Maestro Reverb Echo Deluxe that I can't find a tech willing to repair but it has a phenomenal tone when it's working right.

I'm lucky to have 'accidentally' stumbled across a blonde Emperor F a few years ago. It's the guitar I play the most. Whoever buys this will have a fine guitar.

is this still for sale?

To the top for this one.
I think everyone knows about how well these are made, etc, etc.
Thanks, folks!

Beautiful sunburst. The guitar itself is very similar to the elitist Broadway.

Many moons ago I owned one of these. They are great sounding and playing guitars, a kind of poor man's L5. Matsumoku made. There was this occasion where a sister came over to visite my Epi F.
