Alright people. Here’s my project guitar that I can no longer play since I hurt my ribs. This guitar is patterned after 2B’s L5/400 18 incher, with parallel bracing and lightweight construction The neck is precisely patterned after a Heritage Super Eagle fast action neck.
This guitar is 18” with 25 1/2 scale and is 4 inches in depth. It possesses acoustic muscle as it is only 5.2 lbs in weight (sans pickup). It has been carved and tap tuned by Mr Wu and, aside from the typical Chinese fret work, it is beautifully made. I sent him US Grover heads that he installed.
I installed a KA pickup using fully-shielded leads into Schratten thumbwheel controls, and added a center coil tap switch.
I was about to send the guitar off to have a real fret job done, when I hurt my ribs and now, I can barely handle a 17 incher.
So I’m selling this to a fellow enthusiast.
I’m embarrassed to say how much I’ve put into this guitar…Well, I’m almost 81, so the “‘’…Old Fool” moniker applies.
If you get it and you don’t like it, you can send it back to me and I’ll refund your money, less shipping costs.
