I’m selling my 1948 Epiphone Blackstone in very good condition. It has a solid spruce top, laminated maple back and sides with a nice bubble flame on the back, ivoroid binding, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, nickel tailpiece, plastic pickguard and a set of replacement butter bean Grover tuners.

Other than the tuners, the guitar is all original and has no structural issues, no cracks and all of the binding is tight to the body.

It has a nice dry, cutting sound that the Epi’s are known for.

I’m selling because I have another acoustic archtop and this isn’t getting played. I’m looking for around £1500 and I live in the UK.

The guitar also comes with its original Lifton style Epiphone case which is in quite battered condition but still functions as it should however the main latch for the case doesn’t lock anymore.
