That one was listed in another universe. Leaked right through a wormhole in space-time.

Not to hijack the thread but looking at the prices on reverb, 99% of the listings are from another universe. Sellers with ZERO self awareness...

It does indeed. To be clear, the guitar in the video is the actual one for sale. Jacob also used it to record his latest album.

Will consider trades for a 16” or smaller archtop.

The exact same model of guitars made by Terada factory in Japan.
Some people outside of Japan who want to bump the price of Vestax-era D'angelico believe Vestax was actually making or their name has something special, both of which are simply wrong. Vestax was the distributor of D'angelico in Japan since 1988 and they went bankrupt in 2014. At some point Crews took over the position and kept distributing until recently, not sure if MIJ D'angelico is still in production though. IIRC, NYSS-3 is produced by Crews (made by Terada) since the beginning.

There's some interesting history on the trademark licensing of D'angelico guitar, which became a lawsuit later between Vestax and D’Angelico Guitars of America LLC. It's also interesting that there's detailed explanations on Japanese wikipedia page of D'angelico though no single mentioning of Vestax or the lawsuits on American wikipedia page.
