Do you know if the wood under the bridge connects to the back ?
    or is it a true hollow-body ?

    thanks

Hi, it's a true hollow, similar to the Pat Martino model. You can find a few threads about it in the forum, or hear it in the following video

This is a rather obscure model and very rarely seen or heard these days - I saw Frisell use it a couple of years back and the one I had the chance to try out impressed me as being a very lively, responsive instrument, capable of a rather wide range of possible and useable tones. Def. NOT a one-trick pony. Now a version with a Bigsby would really wet my appetite ! I always wondered why it disappeared so quickly .....

I had one - same finish. I bought it new, kept it for years and played it often. I’ll loved it! I sold it here on the forum. I only did so because I was thinning the herd and chose to to keep an Eastman 145 because of it’s single pickup configuration versus the two pickup 446.

The 446 is a great sounding, very comfortable and easy playing instrument.
