: Robert Conti “Entrada” hollowbody guitar!

This is built to specs for jazz great Robert Conti; it’s in mint condition, and plays as good as it looks! This was purchased recently as one of his “deals,” since the “N” on the headstock was not perfect (see pic), so he gave a slight discount [that’s how much a perfectionist Bob is!]. This is the newer, "second generation" model with some improvements on the first gen. New from his website: $1149 (plus shipping) – get this now, shipped to the lower 48 was $900 now only $800 (or best offer)!! [Will consider shipping elsewhere for actual shipping cost.] Comes in sturdy, soft case.

[Note: there’s some discoloration on the side of the nut, but I asked Bob’s tech about it, and showed it to my local guy, and both said, “cosmetic – no biggie.”]

Used it on a few gigs, and with my students – sweet guitar! Like similar Asian-made instruments (i.e., Peerless, Eastman), this is a solid instrument for any level of player! Action is low and comfortable (as Bob likes it -- and so do I!); you can set it how you prefer, of course.

Great for jazz and blues! Lots of info and video demos online with this model. [Serious inquiries: PM me and I’ll send a special video link!]

First, Marcwhy is a reliable seller. I have experience with him. You should have absolutely no concerns.

Second, I have Bob Conti's lesson series. After hours of listening to him, I get a sense of his personality and values. He is a practical, more pragmatic than puristic, guitarist. I don't believe he'd design and put his name on a guitar that is sub par for its purpose. This is a performer's guitar, a working man's tool, that looks good as well.

He is not someone who focuses on tonequest ethereals. He's all about music, either solo or the being a meaningful part of an ensemble. It's really refreshing to listen to him talk about priorities.

I had strongly considered getting an Entrada back when they were in the pre-production phase. The only reason I didn't is that I have similar guitars.
