This a my custom built Tim Bram Tribute thinline archtop. Got this new about a year ago. I asked Tim to give it more of a traditional archtop look, so I had him do a traditional headstock instead of the tele style that he usually builds on this model. I also had him do a 25&1/2 scale length versus his standard 25 and a built in pickup. When you open up the case, you can’t help not being overwhelmed. More than just a beautiful guitar, it looks like a piece of art. At least that’s how I felt and still feel. Lovely tone both acoustically and plugged in. Even though it’s a smaller guitar, jazz chords are lush and articulate. Chord melody or single note? Both sound amazing. Tim stated “ The goal with this model was to make an archtop that was smaller and easier to play than a traditional archtop, while still offering the familiar archtop voice. Here is a link to his web site where he has lots of video clips:

Its set up with medium action though you can always just lower it at the bridge. Plays amazing to me.This guitar was $7800 new. In near-mint condition. Home use only. No dings, cracks, repairs and No issues. Pretty much in the same condition it was when I received it.
Spec’s Includes:
Hand carved European spruce top
Hand-carved Seasoned mahogany back ( one piece ), sides and neck
Ebony fretboard, tailpiece, bridge, finger rest and headstock veneer
25 &1/2 scale, 1 11/16” nut ( tusq brand )
Black ABS binding, maple and ebony purfling
Hipshot classic open back tuners
Hand wound Kent Armstrong pickup ( mounted) with volume and tone controls
Colored lacquer finish, including 10 coats of clear Lacquer top coat
Dot Fretboard inlays
.
I never thought I would be selling this so soon, and if you look at the back, it has RR right above the strap button. A little self indulgence I guess. LOL!! But health issues have reared their ugly head, so I am preemptively letting some pieces go. Just sold my Sadowsky archtop and this is my last archtop that I will be selling. Great opportunity for someone to snag an amazing guitar at an amazing price on a like-new Bram.
I ordered this with a Gator soft case due to back issues. Lots of extra padding, so it should ship fine. I have a Martin guitar box and lots of packing materials. I am selling for $5500 plus shipping and any payment fee.
That’s over $2500 off the price of a new one!!!
One last price reduction.
will just keep it if i can't get it sold at this price
$4500 plus shipping and fee's

What is the lower bout and rim width dimensions? Also the fretboard radius.
-
lower bout is 14.5
upper bout is 10.75
don't really have anything to measure the fretboard radius
i would say its a rounded c neck.Last edited by jazzbobh446; 12-01-2024 at 06:17 PM.

Gosh that is gorgeous! I'd have to sell a few to afford that and even then, I'd be careful taking it out. Given my playing ability, I'm clearly unworthy. It seems about the size of Martin size 0 guitar which is pretty small, albeit comfortable.

What is the rim width?
The fretboard radius appears very flat. That spec should have been given to you.

If I can add to the seller's ad , I have one of those ProGo cases. They are one of the best bags I have ever encountered. And I've owned Mono, etc.
