What can I say? It’s what you expect it to be. All original, very good condition. Currently has an updated adjustable bridge, but original included. Great woody, warm tone, setup with flat wounds. Low action no buzz. Wonderful neck shape similar to a 59 LP reissue I once had but a bit chunkier. Comes with a non original hard shell Gator case.
Reach out to me with any questions or if you want additional pics. The guitar is also listed on other forums such as The Gear Page . Net so check for availability
Price Lowered - Now asking $5100 Shipped.
Would also consider a trade for a nice acoustic.
    Cash either way is acceptable.

Looks like nice condition especially for nearly 70 years old. I don't look that good and I'm three years younger!

Everything you need and nothing you don’t. This era of Gibsons has the perfect neck profile for me. The fact that this 175 has remained completely
unmodified is testimony to the perfection of its original design.
This guitar will make someone very happy.

I've played many archtops throughout my life and there is something special about 1950s Gibson archtops with a P90. I have two 1955 175s - one sunburst and the other natural. The former spent many years on the road and has the scars to prove it. But it is such a joy to play. The natural one is pretty much mint to excellent condition - hasn't been played nearly as much as the other one. But still a joy to play. Outside of pickguard changes, everything on both is original. The 175 is a remarkedly simple, but yet elegant instrument.

Good luck with the sale of yours! It is a beautiful and well maintained work of art. The new owner will no doubt be thrilled to own and play it.

Beautiful guitar! There's one on the market here in the UK for £5999 and it sounds as sweet as it looks. If I were in the market for a jazz guitar of this quality a single P90 on a blonde 175 would be just about perfect! Someone will be very happy.
