One of my dream guitars, what looks like 16" mounted pickup peerless monarch. Also a leslie 145 6550 power tubes 30 watt speaker. Pickup only. You might get it fairly cheap if you get to northern ohio. The leslie went for $627. I played through one with a big muff once. It was awsome before it failed. I think it needs an input impedance changed or something before it can be used with a guitar.

Yeah, I saw both of those, bidding is getting too high on the Peerless though. An old Polytone Mini-brute II amp sold the other day for $155 -- Polytone Guitar Amp | ShopGoodwill.com

The pick-up only items are often a steal, as you suggested, far less bidding competition on them. A Yamaha 2x12 amp I own sold for $30 last week, pick-up only in Hawaii. But aside from those, I see better deals on eBay now-a-days and unlike the Good Will items, you can return them if they are defective.

This looked interesting, I spoke to the guy who fabricated it (via email), said it's a prototype designed for harmonica amplification, which retailed for $995 - it wasn't made by the Lone Wolf Blues Company as they claim -- Lone Wolf Blues Company Amp | ShopGoodwill.com

Your probably right. But its still interesting to check out and maybe someone may be looking for those. The peerless might have a little bit left in the price and looks in good shape. Well, its over a grand this morning.

The Good Will site is just too popular now, you can find better prices elsewhere, and with return/refund privileges, for example:
    Peerless Monarch 2009

Some Good Will sellers offer better deals on eBay.

That’s an excellent buy! And what’s rare is it’s got a humbucker. Most come with floating pickup. And with free shipping!
