Folks,

This guitar has an interesting back story and would call it a semi "custom" model. I'll explain, ha.

This was an early 16" model with 2 humbuckers that was discontinued. Marc at Guitars N Jazz, who many of you might know, worked for D'Angelico in the early days after the Japanese models switched over to being made in Indochin, Korea, etc. Marc was in charge and handled all the incoming guitars and would do setups, etc. Etc. Anyway, he ordered some of these EXS-1 models to come with no holes and no electronics....basically the fully acoustic version of this guitar. He would then make various incarnations out of that with different pickups of both floating and inset. A customer from Hawaii wanted one with a Charlie Christian, which is this model. I asked Marc what CC he put in and he couldnt remember, but thru what i could dig up, i believe it to be a Lollar.

Its got an Ebony Fretboard and comes w/original hardshell case

Regarding sideways pictures, it’s caused by the way the forum software interprets metada in photos from many phones (without getting too deep in the weeds of the explanation). To fix it is open the photo on the phone, do some sort of edit (e.g., slightly crop it), then save it under a new name. That resets the metadata in that the forum software can deal with correctly.
