1996 Alvarez Yairi CY 116 classical guitar made in Japan in excellent, original condition. The back and sides are laminated burled mahogany with beautiful figure. The top is solid cedar with a deep honey finish. Beautiful wood rosette, ebony fingerboard, and mahogany neck, 650mm scale length, 52mm nut width, rosewood bridge, headstock veneer of burled mahogany & rosewood, and gold tuning machines. The tones are clear and warm with good projection. This guitar plays well and the frets are in very good condition with comfortable action. There are no dents or dings or repairs on the guitar. Original Alvarez hard shell case in very good condition. All positive feedback here and on Reverb and eBay. References available. Shipping only in the continental US. $795.00 + shipping.

Nice looking guitar! Nitrocellulose finish or polyurethane?

According to the Alvarez Yairi website the guitar has a "natural gloss" finish. That is, a thinner type finish. Some of their classical guitars used lacquer but most used polyurethane.
