Congratulations on the new guitar! Can you make some comparisons between the Peerless and Gibson Es175?

My Peerless Monarch is a great guitar so not surprised you like the Gigmaster.

The peerless is slightly more shallow at around 2.8” than the 3” body depth of the 175. The top is a little thinner as well, improving the acoustic response.

only two main differences after that:

-pickups are epi 57’s, which aren’t potted and not as dark as the classic 57s.

-bridge is a hybrid like the 90’s 175, as opposed to straight wood. I prefer this anyway for the intonation.
