The Artur Lang archtop I posted here last week was sold via another forum within hours and now my buddy wants to unload this :
A Steve Andersen "Streamline" 17" model from the early 2000s (impossible to specify further...) in near mint condition - it would be mint if not for the small ding on the top near the bridge.
The lacquer shows no checking anywhere, not on the binding nor the fret ends - testament to the superb quality of the woods and this beauty was babied from the start ! Sound, playability, dynamic response and range, workmanship and wood selection to the highest standards as expected and known
from this builder, very rarely available and even more so now that he retired from building. You know the drill ....
It comes in a VERY sturdy and heavy TKL case, a Kent Armstrong PAF floater (with a stealth tone-control under pickguard) an extra pickguard (Lollar Johnny Smith) and re it's history we only know that the original owner lives in Geneva/Switzerland. This guitar was never gigged, babied from the start and newly set up with Thomastik med. Flats it delivers the goods in spades. Just take a listen to Bill Frisell here
And another performance which features the electric sounds a bit more :
where he plays his own Andersen. The responsiveness, dynamic range, sustain and string separation is clearly audible and puts these guitars in a very high category...
Shipping to the US is not a problem and the cost not prohibitive. The price for forum members is € 5500,- plus shipping.
Just a moment...

Remarkable guitars! These Streamline are the last model Steve made, and, toward the end of his career it was the only model offered, a simplified, single version, no frills, just the distillation of decades of experienced, artful, master craftsmanship. He had some of the best wood in the business to select from, and worked alone. It allowed him to focus on what he did best, without interruption or changing requirements. I'd wanted one of these for a while, but always arrived too late for the deal until a couple weeks ago, and then I got lucky. I've played it every day since it arrived, and I can verify that it was worth the wait. It's an exceptional instrument that works perfectly for me. The size, scale, weight, tone, neck, setup, the simple elegance. I'm happy with mine and am certain that someone will enjoy this one.
I also have a Model 17 with a built in KA 12 pole pickup and an Emerald City Reserve that are also exceptional. Steve Andersen has built some incredible instruments.
Good luck with the sale!

I have owned 4 archtops made by Steve Andersen, including 16" and a 17" Streamlines, and all were extraordinary instruments. The Streamlines were his non-custom instruments but are in no way inferior. They feature the same quality materials and workmanship as his custom models.
I bought one of my Streamlines from this seller some years back, and it was a very good transaction and shipping from Europe was no problem. In my opinion, this is a good price for a very nice instrument.

Beautiful instrument.
That is very rare instrument here in EU. Even..I remember when price was 3.500EUR, but today this price is more than resonable.

Andersen Streamline is one of the best guitars that I've ever played. Mine is the 16" version, and it is a pleasure and an inspiration. It makes me very happy.
