    You have to practice with a metronome - Band in a Box is like metronome.
    I know musicians who only practiced with backing tracks/Aebersold/ and they play great live with the band.
    You just have to use your own ear.

    You're the one that has to swing, not the backing tracks. If the backing tracks are in time it's not their fault.

    iRealB Pro. Because it is cost effective, offers broad coverage of tunes you might want to play, allows you to control tempo, lets you select the key, style, and instruments. Several of the instruments sound cheesy but not all of them. Quick real world example using the Jazz, Guitar Trio setting.
