No, not the law firm, I'm of course referencing the cut 'Flamingo' from Jimmy Smith's seminal lp The Sermon.
Most of us know this recording, I'm a huge Lee Morgan fan and this may be my favorite ballad solo of his, Kenny Burrell's too and both on the same cut. Their sense of dynamics is incredible as well as Smith and Blakey laying down a velvet carpet for them to glide on. And that tag, wow, blows my mind every time.

    Love it!

Jazz ballads don’t get any better than this. Of course all the players are great, but Lee Morgan, what a tone. His early death was a great loss for the jazz community.

Lee Morgan was a fantastic player. He really showcases his lines on the ballad here. You can't go wrong with Jimmy Smith's background too.
