Larry Carlton Un-Retired?

I thought he had cashed in his chips. I’m glad he changed his mind.

Now that Beck has sadly passed, Carlton is on the top of my list of guitarists to see while I still can.

I’m glad he’s still out there playing.

I love his playing, but his albums sometimes leave me wanting. I listened to a playlist of his today in fact. I just want him to leave the overdone arrangements behind and rock out.

Hopefully that’s what he’s doing these days. Will I see him if I have a chance? Hell yeah!

I've seen Larry 8 times and hopefully there will be a ninth.All these guys that annouce their retirement(Clapton)are really just saying that they are not going on tour for months on end anymore.Carlton has his mother,daughter and grandchild living with him and i'm sure he loves them but it's still nice and rewarding to get out of the house and play a gig.
