Wikipedia says it was John Gray who I am unacquainted with. Found this on him.

A guy named John Gray was on my swim team in high school. I dated his sister awhile. She was a cheerleader. She was skinny as a rail at age 14, but by 17 or so, to quote Van Morrison, “my how you have grown”. For some reason she didn’t want to go out with me after a few dates, preferring guys on the football team. I think she married one of them.

I don’t think that John Gray played guitar on Julie London’s albums, though.

I think about her every now and then. She likes my funny posts on Facebook, so there’s that.

I am a follower of the English political philosopher John Gray. I once interviewed him for the Auckland University student magazine. I don't think he played on Julie London's albums.

John Gray did TWO albums with Herb.

Add "Three Guitars in Bossa Nova Time".

Those are very nice. He had an excellent tone. Those 2 guys sound great together.

JG was a great player, who was struck down by a stroke at a very young age. Sad story...
