I had never heard that Emily gig from the 4 Queens. Jeez, she was burning up the fretboard! That is some of her most on-point work out of a lot of pretty much on-point work. No wonder Herb Ellis thought she was the up-and-coming jazz star of her generation. You know, listening to that I hear her connection to Scofield, Abercrombie, etc. who were also coming up at about the same time. Such a shame we didn't get to hear another 30 years of her music.
