Maybe everybody else has seen this, I just ran across it today: a five part clinic with BB King discussing his influences (including Charlie Christian), how he approaches arpeggios and the ambiguous third in blues, phrasing, continual practicing and learning, etc. I've never heard BB talk about these kinds of things in depth before; he has a very clear knowledge of and intention in what he's doing and a solid ability to explain it.

Since blues is one of the legs of jazz, this will help find a more solid footing. I have always regarded the blues as one of the strengths in my playing, but I don't actually practice playing blues very much anymore. After watching this I see that's clearly a mistake.
