    That was fun! I don't need much of an excuse to post this (again..)

    I've got an LP of John Lee Hooker where the sleeve note says JLH brought the carefully miked block of wood he's stomping on to the studio in his guitar case & was more concerned with getting the sound he wanted from that than from his guitar...

    Surprised at how jazz-ish he can make that strat sound - if I was listening without watching or being clued in, I really don't think I would have guessed it was strat. Those flatwounds definitely seem to help with the transformation.

    Loving both of these vids - wouldn't necessarily want to listen to tap dancing on an album, but it's at least an entertaining novelty to watch and appreciate.
