    I saw about 20 of those at the Songbirds museum in Chattanooga, which is about 29 more than I have ever seen in my life.

    They are really interesting and kind of cool, but so ungainly looking. I can't imagine ever playing one myself.

    The most interesting ones I have seen (not jazz) are the guit-steel that Junior Brown plays (and was stolen recently) and the Rickenbacker bass/12 string that Mike Rutherford played with Genesis. Looks like it would weigh about 20 lbs...
