I'm sure there must also be a Mick Goodrick Trio album, somewhere...

Coming out early December. I might buy that one. As I understand some tracks have a piano.

I'm no expert on Hofners but I seem to remember that only four of these were made. When playing gigs in NY, Jimmy Raney would borrow guitars from Peter Leitch so it may be same one.

They're the same model guitar - a Atilla Zoller-branded archtop made by Hofner. Peter Leitch still has his (which he bought direct from Zoller), which he played for many years after retiring his L5. Jimmy Raney's guitar came up for sale in Europe a few years ago and is now in Ireland I believe.

I remember buying this CD for a couple of dollars at the San Francisco Tower Records during their going out of business sale, no clue what happened to it.

Great Mark Whitfield Trio album, called "Trio Paradise"... I bought one in Japan (20, or so, years ago!). I couldn't find any trace of it on Youtube... I'm wondering if it was released in Japan only?

    Just a moment...

Sorry if someone has already shared this one, but I have to give props to "Triple Play" by Russell Malone. Definitely one of my favorite records in this ensemble format.
