I had only two singing lessons in my life. One was with Caro Roth 15 years ago. I was in a singer-songwriter trio and one of us was studying with her and took both us other two to one lesson. I learned some basic things that help me a lot now.

I had not seen her until on monday night she came to an acoustic jam session with a young drummer who was drumming on a cardboard box with brushes. Jamming was lots of fun and the drummer gave me her number so the pool of people who like to play with me is growing.

Here Caro sings in a duo with guitarist Stephan Kramer (also from Munich) who studied with Ted Dunbar, Billy Bauer, Kenny Barron and Chris Parks among others. He was also Sheila Jordan's accompanist for a while.
