There’s in interview with Wrembel in the current issue of Guitar Player Magazine (on a side note, I think I’m seeing an increase in jazz guitar coverage in guitar magazines recently - I read a bunch of them through the Readly app). I’d never heard of him and checked out the three albums he just released with Pilc. There’s an overall concept behind the three records and I find the music to be intimate, fascinating and both deep and accessible at the same time. There’s a sparse, raw beauty here that somehow reminds me of nature. Wonderful stuff.
