That convergence with baroque music is quite interesting. I found his comments on improv on those types of songs intriguing too.

Beato is an excellent interviewer. I only wish we hadn't lost so many greats in the past decade and they were still around to appear on his channel. Chick Corea, Allan Holdsworth, Jeff Beck, David Bowie, Wayne Shorter, etc.
