This is from 1971, before AC/DC was formed. This band was called Fraternity.

"The Shape I'm In" is a song by The Band. It wasn't an old song at the time.

Bon seems to have misheard a line that I too misheard when this song was new: "Out of nine lives / I've spent seven" is how it goes, but I thought (and Bon seems to sing) "Out in the night life..."

Bon also sang in the pop group The Valentines. Here he is with the band doing "Build Me Up Buttercup" (-though he is not singing lead).

Bon was a more polished singer than his vocals with AC/DC might suggest...

The Tom Terrific? With Mighty Manfred, the Wonder Dog? I wonder....

When I first read the title, I thought it referred to the ARC Angels' track. "The Shape I'm In," which we used to cover. Imagine my surprise! Srsly, Show Biz makes some strange band fellows.

    I'll see myself out.

He just spent 16 years in the jailhouse. For the crime of having no dough.

Same penalty for a friend of his on murder in ‘jailbreak’.
