Something about the tone of the guitar reminded me of this record

The Chaconne was great, but the Vivaldi is stunning.
I am glad to see more of that music emerging in the last years.
Here is a completely different Chaconne:
And another singer doing classical music with electric guitar:

When I get a free 100 hours to work on this, I might get somewhere. Meanwhile, I'll leave it to Gilad

Peter, I don’t want to rain on your parade, but in comparison this piece is not very difficult, nor very well executed from a classical point of view. In fact, it sounds like someone practising scales, there is absolutely no phrasing in the 16th runs.
Now have I come across as a complete dork?

There's absolutely nothing dorkish about giving an honest, informed opinion. I would, however, very much like to get 90% of it (as played here) under my belt before going into the finer points of execution. This is from the perspective of a classical and jazz-influenced prog rocker

It's taken me three years. I am not ready to inflict them on anyone haha.
It has OTOH really opened up a lot of polyphonic technique for me on the guitar. I would recommend. Invention #1 is a good place to start, I would say. It doesn't need much mucking around with to be playable on the guitar, although the trills are a challenge.

Here's a chart I did. Original key Dm, this is in Gilad's key. Also chord symbols because - reasons.
I find it more readable in piano score. No, really.
