Up for sale is this beautiful acoustic 17” Special non-cutaway – I built this guitar in 2015 and kept it as a ‘show’ piece, but I’ve decided to let it go since I’ve acquired another guitar to use for...
Hi folks. It’s nice to be talking about guitars again instead of my health (which, by the way, is on track, and I should be home in a month!). Treating myself to a new old guitar. The choices are the...
Yes, I know, but the conversation here is about specific notes, not alternate ones. I suppose it's also about how alternate notes function but that's not the issue here.
That's very good, well done. :encouragement: Edit: Having listened closely to the above slowed down version, I think the music notation shown below is correct, including the Bb ghost note in red.
True, the most awkward thing is the range. A number of guitarists including Adam Rogers and Jonathan Kreisberg play the bridge up an octave whereas Peter Bernstein transposes the whole thing to F...

It does sound killer. It has a good jazz tone even acoustically. But yeah, I was surprised; I had to cut the little fabric winding off with a razor blade to make it fit.
I like how you use the low open string. I just stole that.
The chords for bar 3 are Bb (or Dm) - G7 and Cm/F7 for bar 4. It's only logical that it's a nat B for the G7 and a Bb for the Cm, ghost note or not. I don't understand this myopic approach.
