I love this tune. I used to accompany a friend on clarinet on it before he passed away. The Duke Robillard version that the OP links to is really nice.
Here’s my attempt on solo guitar. I’ve been doing a lot more gardening than practicing lately, so it’s rough. I’ll try to work on finger mechanics and clean it up.

On their current website, Heritage does not describe the top or back plates of the H-575 as carved, or even solid wood. They do mention that the rims are solid wood.

My Sakura 175 copy has the post and no bracing. Actually it looks pretty shoddy and with the fake humbuckers! I don't believe the post is a repair for a sunken top, I think it's instead of bracing...
The arch top is stiffer than a flat top, and the f-holes allow it to move in a piston-like way. The bracing adds to this motion. This is nest for the mids. It affects violins and mandolins, as well....
