I love this tune. I used to accompany a friend on clarinet on it before he passed away. The Duke Robillard version that the OP links to is really nice.
Here’s my attempt on solo guitar. I’ve been doing a lot more gardening than practicing lately, so it’s rough. I’ll try to work on finger mechanics and clean it up.

Unfortunately, like many people, the result of my "learning" scales has a tendency be learning finger patterns rather than really hearing the intervals.

-1 11/16" nut width - I prefer 1 3/4", but 1 11/16" works fine for me as well;
-.97" - depth at the 1st fret;
-1.00" - depth at the 9th fret;

Well, Bali Hai (from South Pacific) goes up an octave and immediately down to the major 7th, so it's close, if you can simply imagine the second note...
In the first clip, to my ears, Hubbard is playing a sustained Bb there, not a B natural (which would be b5, a very different animal). In the second, he's not hanging onto E natural anywhere, though...
