@JensL, any and all. I want to get/listen to as many varied rhythms to apply to my comping and improvising.

    Always looking and listening.

    Thanks Jens,

I got myself some new sounds!
I hear Ed Bickert in these triads.
I'll try to use them in this months Practical Standard Poll,

Great lesson, Jens! Handy and musical---who could ask for anything more?

    Thanks Jens.

You made me realize that I rarely use 3rd's .....

From now on I'm going to spend some time harmonizing tunes/lines in 3rd's.
It's a great way to thicken up lines .

    Hi Jens,

I recorderded these months Practical Standard Poll and tried using your triads.
It's also on the Februari Practical Standard Poll post nr 136.
Like I wrote there, not using tritones #11, I'm not there yet, just Vb9 on the dominant.

I'm hearing Joe Pass, but it's all good.

Great lesson, Jens. I looked at your YouTube channel and was wondering if you have anything similar to this lesson, but looking at fourth intervals?

    Thank you!

That was alos my initial reference, he does it in most of the solos in his chord solos book

I do have a few lessons on quartal harmony: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...ehdbK87rql_2yj

None of them are on chord soloing really, but you can have a look?

Great stuff Jens. It also works great in tunes like Misty when playing the ascending AbMaj7 arpeggio... measure 3, I think?

    Very useful stuff!
