He's been around a long time, over 50 years I think, dubbed the "Norwegian Jimi Hendrix." I haven't heard much of his recent music, have a couple of his older ECM albums.
Unfortunately I also play the guitar like a massive nerd. Only not very well, because my little finger wibbles around. It is disgusting to look upon.

I saw him once around that time. It was on a pier in Manhattan where they built that Little Island. I think it was Scofield on guitar, but honestly I don't remember.

I have played nylon string guitars with 2" nuts, 1 7/8" nuts and 1 3/4" nuts. I think with the proper strings, one can adapt to any of those sizes. For the complex Classical material, I agree that...

Probably a nuanced topic. All plausible explanations, IMHO. However, there are exceptions. I have a hollow archtop that rings forever. And I have solid body guitars that don't.
