    Thanks for your reply, i appreciate it. I use modes, arpeggios, chromatisms, major/minor scales, bebop scales... All kind of things !

    Very good! Sounding fluent and musical.

    for faster tempos I find it helps to group the chords like this (starting in the last bar of the form, as a pickup)

    C#m7 F#7 B
    D7 G Bb7 Eb
    Am7 D7 G
    Bb7 Eb F#7 B

    and then the ii V I’s

    The thing to get super automatic at is playing the 2nd and 4th lines.... you don’t have to do anything clever, just chord tones, 1 2 3 5 or linking scales will all sound great.
