Thought I'd share this fun Bossa Nova style Blues backing track in E minor!
Fun to practice on
There's tab for the intro solo - and a lesson as well.
HAPPY JAMMING!

I suspect it's mostly an amp setting. The strings you're using should be bright, they're not nickel, just nickel-plated steel. I have no idea what amp you're using, or what speaker(s), so it's hard...
We can not discuss this without mentioning one of the master of this technic :smile-new: Al Di Meola - Reh Video 5 - YouTube
Also could be "The Art of Thunk"
Try lowering the pickups. Also check your amp settings. Find the sweet spot. Don’t be scared to use the tone knob. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You guys know all about pickups, I have a plaguing problem with humbuckers. I just got a new Epiphone 335 Pro. I needed h/bers for my newest regular gig and my P90's buzz too much in the room. ...
archtop.com has the above for sale. No affiliation, but I've played the Trenier RW and the Andersen Oval and both were excellent. I own a '16 Motif and it's simply exceptional. The '08 has a side...
LOL did I say chords are the tune. I thought I said you need all of the Tune. What do you when someone else is soloing or playing the head. Rhythm changes are different for oleo and lester...
...or use Reinvention of the Thunk as one of your album names.
Highly intriguing - I would find it especially interesting to hear A/B recordings of the same figure(s) played with and without your Thunkification device engaged. I can understand how after getting...
The chords shown on much sheet music can be overly complicated. Ralph Patt's Vanilla Book is a great resource, with the basic vanilla chords for many jazz tunes. There are also backing tracks if...
Reflections off the engraving. It's my last 17" guitar. I still play the 15.5" L-5Signature version:
I'd bet a DeArmond Rhythm Chief or FHC would sound great on that guitar.
I'll echo the latter, and I'm veering away from the 'jazzguitar' umbrella here, but - if you're unfamiliar with the music of Sheffield's The Comsat Angels (1979 - 2003-ish), risk whatever it costs on...
Here ya go, this is what I'm working with these days. I really like the croc-style wrap on the amp too, it certainly adds to the atmosphere when you're diving into some swampy blues!
