I hear as much Prairie as City Street in his playing.

Have you ever seen Lee's Summit, MO? Colbern Rd., old 50Hwy, Longview Farm, etc., all have views of miles and miles prairie all around you, yet drive for 15 to 20 minutes to the east on 350, then north on Paseo, to the 18th and Vine district, and you're at the Jazz Foundation, where they have and still play all through the night, walking distance from where Parker honed his chops.

I like how he talks about grammar, then just destroys the next sentence.

And what was really funny about that is that he was still hammering on rhythm, while speaking in sentences with these huge pregnant pauses!
