Attached is an "atonal etude" I got from Dave, it's a study in the application of atonal patterns. I was instructed to play it in the 6th & 7th positions, so my fingerings reflect that. You may also want to use symmetrical fingerings for the repeating patterns, i.e., not stay in any particular position.
